NOTE: You are seeing this page as the result of a glitch. Clarion Carrier currently does not offer rides. We have been working to improve the transportation options for folks in Clarion, whilst following applicable rideshare laws for the state of Pennsylvania. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Fee Schedule- Rides
Minimum charge is $8. See accepted payment methods below.
$8.00 one-way, $11.00 Round-Trip, for rides within ONLY Clarion Borough and Monroe Township.
Cargo- $15 (use of entire cargo hold in back of vehicle). Reduces passenger capacity to 3. (This fee is for large items that require significant management. Small items such as bags of groceries will not incur this fee.)
Per Mile: $2.00
Per Extra Stop: $2.00
Per Half-Hour Wait: $2.50 (first half-hour is not charged).
Starting address must be within 15 miles of the Clarion County Courthouse. Rates increase if starting address is outside of this radius.

Hotels in Monroe Township (near Wal-Mart) to Infusion, Loomi's or Toby Hill: $8
Reinhard Villages to Borough Locations- $8 one-way, $11 round trip base.
Clarion University to Wal-Mart- $8 one-way, $11 round-trip base.
Shippenville Borough to Clarion University or Wal-Mart- $12 one-way, $16 round-trip base.
Clarion Borough to Brookville- $30 one-way, $50 same-day round-trip
Clarion University Main Campus to Oil City/ Venango Campus- $45 one-way, $70 same-day round-trip
Clarion Borough to DuBois Regional Airport: $75 one-way, $110 round-trip
Clarion Borough to Pittsburgh International Airport- $130 One-Way, $200 round-trip

Rules for Rides:
1. Masks must be worn at all times. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you remove your mask, you will forfeit all monies and will be dropped off at the present location or nearest highway exit.
2. There is a 100-mile-maximum on most rides. Please contact us if your destination is farther than this, as arrangements may be made in certain situations.
3. Our vehicle is currently a Honda Pilot. Due to personal belongings, I can fit either five passengers or three passengers plus cargo. If your group has more than three passengers, your ride must be booked at least a day in advance, to allow us time to put the rearmost seats into the vehicle.
4. We reserve the right to refuse ride service to any person, at any time, for any reason.
5. Your payment method will NOT be charged until a quote is accepted. However, you must pay in advance for all rides that leave Clarion Borough.
6. While not absolutely necessary, booking your ride as far in advance as possible will allow me to provide much better service. (This would give me time to fuel up if necessary, empty the cargo hold, fold the seats up or down as necessary, et cetera.)
7. "Round trip" generally requires that I remain at the location until pickup. If the trip requires two separate drives and is not offered as a package, you will need to pay for two one-way rides. Example- a drive to Wal-Mart, shop for a half hour, and a return trip is a "round trip". A drive to Loomi's at 8PM with a 1AM pickup is two one-way rides.
8. All rides that: originate or terminate at an airport; contain more than three passengers; or both, MUST be scheduled at least one day in advance. Other rides must be scheduled at least an hour in advance. For the safety of our driver, you MAY NOT "hail" Clarion Carrier as a taxi.
9. All rides after midnight must be accompanied by a return ticket. New rides will NOT originate after midnight. This is for the safety of our driver.
**Rides from Clarion Borough to Monroe Township or vice versa, up to 3 passengers, are $10. (For example, from Main Street to Walmart/ Township Hotels, or vice versa. Fee increases with more than 3 passengers. See schedule above for further pricing information.**
